An update to our COVID-19 Protocols
A few months ago, excited by the significant reduction in Covid cases, our church basically returned to pre-covid practices. No masks, no social distancing, singing together once again (hasn’t that felt GREAT?)….its felt so good to feel normal again! But today, things are looking a little different. Cases are on the rise, with our county now at level 3 of 4 on the CDC’s Community Transmission scale.
So consistent with CDC recommendations, we are going to return to a mask requirement when in the church building with others. This includes during worship and meetings. We also encourage people to socially distance themselves to their own level of comfort. The good news is the pastors will take off their masks when they speak from the pulpit and we will KEEP SINGING!
This step back is frustrating, but we want to do all we can to keep each other safe, especially those in our congregation who are not yet able to be vaccinated.
